Window Tint

Window tint is a thin film applied to the interior surface of vehicle glass. It helps reduce glare, block UV rays, add privacy, and keep the cabin cooler.

Pricing varies based on vehicle type, number of windows, and film type. Please contact us directly for a personalized quote.

The British Columbia law states that:

  • No more than 75mm from the tp of the windshield can be tinted.
  • The front driver and passenger side windows are illegal to tint.
  • Any film on head or tail lights is prohibited.

Depending on the brand, our limited warranty covers 3 to 5 years and protects against cracking, bubbling, and peeling.

Tint typically takes 3–7 days to fully dry. During this period, some haziness or bubbles may appear, but they will clear as the film cures.

For windows that roll up and down, please avoid using them for at least 3–5 days after installation to ensure proper adhesion.

Our window film is highly durable and requires minimal upkeep. To help ensure its longevity, please follow these care guidelines:

  • DO NOT use abrasive pads or industrial-strength glass cleaners. Avoid any products containing ammonia (e.g., Windex).
  • DO NOT use sharp or edged tools such as scrapers, razor blades, or fingernails on the film.
  • DO NOT apply heavily gummed signs, tapes, suction cups, or decals like “N” or “L” stickers to the film.
  • DO clean the film with a soft cloth and a mild soap or vinegar-and-water solution. You can also purchase an ammonia-free glass cleaner at our store.

This is due to the factory-applied ceramic “dot matrix” around some windows. The film cannot fully adhere to this texture, which can cause minor visual distortion—this is completely normal and unavoidable.

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

No special maintenance is required for Xpel Ultimate Plus. However, the film will last longer if it is cleaned often.

Wash the vehicle with pH-balanced soaps and avoid abrasive tools.

Yes, but wait at least 48 hours after installation before washing your vehicle to allow the film to fully adhere.

Yes—after 48 hours. Be sure to use a wide spray nozzle and keep it at a safe distance from the edges to avoid lifting the film.

Yes, but only with waxes that are PPF-safe. Avoid products with more than 5% Naphtha or Kerosene, and steer clear of waxes containing dyes or harsh abrasives.

Our paint protection film comes with a 2 year warranty that covers issues like yellowing, staining, cracking, peeling, and more.

The film can self-heal from light surface scratches, especially when exposed to heat. Deeper cuts that penetrate the film will not heal and may require replacement.

Absolutely! Full-body coverage is available and offers maximum protection. We can tailor the coverage to suit your vehicle and lifestyle.

Yes, PPF can be safely removed without damaging your vehicle's paint, provided it's done carefully and correctly.

No, PPF is not recommended for windshields, as its refractive properties can cause visual distortion, making it unsafe for driving.

Window film is a thin, transparent layer applied to glass surfaces to enhance energy efficiency, reduce glare, and provide UV protection.

Solar control films function by increasing solar reflection and absorption, thereby reducing heat transmission through the glass. Reflective films, coated with metals, are particularly effective in reflecting solar energy.

Our trained professionals apply the film to the interior side of the glass. The process involves cleaning the glass, applying a slip solution, positioning the film, and using a squeegee to remove excess solution and ensure proper adhesion.

Professional installation is recommended for the best results and to maintain warranty coverage.

No. Most films are optically clear and won’t distort your view. Reflective films also add daytime privacy.

Yes, while it's impossible to eliminate all fading, our films significantly reduce the primary causes—UV light, visible light, and solar heat—thereby prolonging the life of your interior furnishings.

Absolutely. In addition to reducing cooling costs in summer, our films help retain interior heat during winter, leading to energy savings year-round.

Drying times can vary based on film type and environmental conditions. Typically, films take 30 days to fully cure, during which you may notice small water bubbles or a hazy appearance. These will dissipate as the film dries.

  • Wait 30 days before the first cleaning to allow the film to cure.
  • Use a soft cloth or synthetic sponge with a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution.
  • Avoid ammonia-based cleaners and abrasive tools that could damage the film.

When properly selected and installed, window film does not cause glass breakage. Our team assesses factors like glass type, size, and exposure to ensure compatibility and minimize risk.

Yes, our films are safe and warrantied for most insulated glass units.

Generally, window film does not harm houseplants. Some plants may require a short adjustment period to the reduced light levels. If concerned, gradually move them to the new light levels.

Our films come with a warranty that covers bubbling, peeling, cracking, and discoloration. Residential installations typically have a 10-year warranty, while commercial installations have a 5-year warranty. Specialty films may have different terms.

With proper care, our window films can last well beyond their warranty periods, often up to 15–20 years, depending on factors like film type, glass orientation, and environmental conditions.
